Coal Pot Cook-off

Foodies travelling in the virgin islands in late May have a new reason to celebrate. The Coal Pot Cook-off is a new festival event on St. Thomas hosted by the St. Thomas Historical Trust.

The purpose of the event is to promote our local history and culture by demonstrating a traditional method of cooking in a fun and approachable way for locals and visitors alike.

The statue of Edith L. Williams, pictured above, is located in downtown Charlotte Amalie, across the street from the post office.
